I received a video of a Ukraine artist doing something called sand painting. I was blown away! Such beauty with such basic materials - I had to try it! We built a box. I crammed for three days and created a simple Easter presentation. The audience was just as mesmerized as I was. That's when my sand painting career was born - I've been doing it ever since.

They empowered me with a curiosity and freedom to explore. Being an illustrator, actor, cartoonist, writer, painter, and creative consultant is I believe part of why I'm sought-after as a sand painter. In everything I do I try to share my ability to see things differently. I stretch myself and those around me to find an answer that's fresh and simple at the same time - the best kind of solution.
